Hui Wang

Xi'an, China

I am an associate professor in the School of Mathematics and Statistics of Xi’an Jiaotong University in China. Prior to this, I was a postdoctoral researcher at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) under the supervision of Prof. Helmut Pottmann . I received my PhD in 2020 from Dalian University of Technology (DUT), where I conducted research in the Computational Geometry group led by Prof. Chungang Zhu. During my doctoral studies, I spent two years as a visiting researcher in Prof. Pottmann’s Applied Geometry group at TU Wien. My research interests include Computer Graphics, Computational Design and Fabrication, CAD/CAM, Architectural Geometry, Geometry Processing, Computational Geometry, Image Processing, 3D Reconstruction, geometric deep learning, etc.

\({\color{red}{Open Positions}}\): My research group is currently recruiting passionate Master’s students, PhD candidates, and postdoc from around the world. We encourage applications from students with a strong interest in computer graphics and a solid background in programming, mathematics, deep learning, civil engineering, or related fields.
